Interest Areas
The mission of the Northwest Health Foundation is to advance, support, and promote the health of the people of Oregon and southwest Washington. The Foundation achieves this mission in a variety of ways including grant making, technical assistance and training for nonprofits, convening, commissioning research, and supporting policy advocacy.
Much of the work we do falls within three interest areas: access to quality health care, the nursing work force, and public health. Physical activity and nutrition promotion and community-based participatory research are key components of our public health work.
- Access to Health Care
- Nursing Work Force
- Public Health
- Community-Based Participatory Research
- Physical Activity and Nutrition
